Fall for Polka Dots

I am beginning to worry that Fall might be getting cut short here in Utah as we have encountered our first days of snowfall this week. Although most cities are seeing record highs, the snow has arrived and I really don’t want to miss out on the rest of the fall season. So until the weather becomes absolutely unbearable, I plan on getting major use out of all my favorite dresses, including sharing my love for polka dots in this classic midi dress.

Before the snow hit the weather was perfect. Warm enough for summer favorites during the day, and in the cool nights they were easily accompanied by a simple leather jacket. Todays look exemplifies my fall wardrobe and how I like to make fall outfits perfect for not only the office but even out on the town.

One of those timeless summer favorites I like to wear all year long would certainly have to be polka dots. Available in a array of colors, traditionally we find most polka dots in a black and white color scheme. Making this pattern perfect for fall and matching with deep, rich, autumn tones. I also love the contrast it gives to the typical plaid pattern most of us fall accustom to with the season. I gave my classic polka dot dress a mod makeover with the addition of my Iro metallic leather jacket and a pair of silver matching pumps. I also couldn’t resist finally wearing these amazing porsche design aviators I picked up, and topping it off with a fun colored bag.
