Is anyone else still blown away by the fact that it is already November? Thanksgiving is only two weeks away!
I am definitely look forward to holiday and all of the traditions I share with my family. We usually head to our family home in southern Utah, and enjoy the long weekend sleeping in, making Thanksgiving dinner, and Black Friday shopping! Call us crazy, but we even head into Las Vegas on Saturday to find even more deals. We’re certainly a shopping family. Do you guys join in on the Black Friday craziness at all? Most of the time I even get majority of my Christmas shopping out of the way early!
Thanksgiving for me personally marks the start of the holidays (and yes, that’s still two weeks away)! I have friends who have already put up their Christmas tree, or others who have programed their radio stations to the local holiday music channels. For me, I like to enjoy each holiday, and as much as I love Christmas, it’s still a tad bit early for me (Wasn’t it just BARELY Halloween!?!). Regardless, while most people are prepping for upcoming events, before the holidays, it is a great time to focus on your goals, accomplishments, and making the little things count. Within our busy lives, we need to be reminded that it’s important to take time and enjoy the good things, even if just a little. Recently, I have created little gifts of goodness to share with friends, co-workers and loved ones to point out just how fantastic they are and sharing just a bit of encouragement. It is certainly easy to bypass your own needs this time of year so it’s important that I remind those around me!
I created a sweet little surprise to remind those people of the little things. Made with real fruit, dark chocolate and whole nuts in bite-size portions, goodnessknows® snack squares is one of those little things. These delicious bars were the perfect uplifting treat! Available in Cranberry, Almond, Dark Chocolate and Apple (my favorite), Almond & Peanut, Dark Chocolate and Peach & Cherry, Almond, Dark Chocolate, I found them in next to the register at Wal-mart (be sure to snag this coupon for additional savings!). The adorable packaging caught my eye and made the perfect size for a little surprise.
Creating the gift was easy, I took these squares from goodness to greatness! All it takes was tissue paper (in the color or your choice), ribbon, and gift tags. It doesn’t take much to share a little goodness!
What are some other ways you like to motivate, uplift, or surprise those around you? Be sure to enter the giveaway and share your goodnessknows® photo or quote for a chance to win a variety of fitness prizes!

Very cute idea! I love how you talked about slowing down and celebrating each holiday and each moment. By the way your Thanksgiving tradition sounds amazing! I love the idea of sleeping in and then going to Las Vegas for black Friday. That sounds like so much fun. Xo, Ellese
