There is something so comforting in the denim get-up known as the ‘Canadian Tuxedo’. Maybe it’s the fact that I identify with it by default for being Canadian myself, or maybe because we all seek refuge in our favorite pair of denim jeans. We can wear them tight, skinny, short, or long, but they always make us feel comfortable and confident. Denim has found its way into shirts, jackets, and baseball caps, making it a perfect to pair denim favorites together in one outfit. Some fear the monochromatic appeal of the full denim look, yet some people embrace it in multiple denim washes. For me, I am specific… always looking for denim that matches and coordinates (seems like an easy task, but it’s near impossible). I get as close of a color match as I can find for a more streamline look. My new Manolo Blahnik metallic pumps seemed like the cherry on top making something so simple a little more me.
