Birthday Dress

So today is the big 2-6.
After my last birthday (25), every other birthday just feels like another day. The only exception is that today I feel zero guilt for purchases or food. Ha. I will say that with each year, I have accepted my adulthood and grown wiser. I have also accepted my growing addiction to coffee and my recent obsession with lemon flavored treats…

With that being said, I think the most important thing I have learned this year is, ‘age is nothing but a number.’ We look at those older than us for experience or those younger than us for an escape, but the truth is, we can only ever act on how far we’ve come in life. I hope that with each year I continue to learn more, but wake up every day with as much excitement to live, as I did the day before. Life will never pass you by, unless you miss the opportunity and sit back to watch it pass.
