Happy 2nd Blog Birthday to Eleventh & Sixteenth

Yup, today is the day my blog turns two! Now celebrating my second blogiversay it’s almost kind of a surreal feeling looking back and realizing that you have dedicated two years of your life to a blog. Majority of people that I meet don’t really understand the concept of blogging, let alone devoting a significant amount of my time into the work and creativity that goes into creating a blog.Even some people close to me didn’t understand why I was dedicating so much time to my blog. However, Eleventh & Sixteenth isnt just a blog, or this place I store my images and random thoughts, it’s my creative release.

The quote goes “It isn’t work if you love what you do,” and I can honestly say after two years I really love this side project I have created for myself. It’s one place that isn’t work, family, drama or my day to day life but somewhere I can share my creativity and passion with the outside world. Not only has blogging taught me endless amounts of knowledge but I have in turn created so many friendships and connections that I would have never made elsewhere.

Last years blog birthday post I shared all my knowledge and tips on how to keep going, all which is great and still relevant information. But the truth is, KEEP GOING. If you have a blog, there is no magic secret, or e-book you can read, or even some short term to making blogging a success or passion. You literally just have to love what you do and inspire yourself as much as possible. Blogging is a hustle, you have to continuously drive yourself to think outside the box and have the confidence to put it on display for the world. The best part about it all is that there is no one else in the world that is like you, and all of the content you create is original and unique. That right there is another reason why I find blogging is so amazing. No matter who you are, what you do, hobbies you have, I guarantee there are plenty of people who find something you do interesting and amazing, so keep on pushing!
