Recently I had a great opportunity to stop into Q Clothing Boutique, a local Salt Lake City clothing store to pick up some great finds for the upcoming season.
With Fall now here, we are all in quick desperation to transition our wardrobes from cut offs to cozies. But, what are the simplest ways to wear your favorite Summer pieces into late Fall?
This week, I’ll be explaining 3 ways to easily take those Summer finds and make them last through the season.
First, I wanted to focus on what I find most people are excited about when the weather starts changing…layers.
Adding layers to any simple basic staple is a great way to warm up your outfit and keep you prepared for the drop in temperature.
Some simple layering pieces everyone should invest in are: beanies, scarves, booties, vests, and knee high socks, for starters. (I personally lean more towards hats, vests and scarves myself, especially in the early fall when its still warm).
The maxi dresses that we all coveted through the summer, are great to layer this season. They are a great option that you can accessorize with cool weather add ons.
But why stop there? Try layering your favorite hat, scarf or booties with that favorite skater skirt you have, or even those J Crew bermudas you found on clearance this past labor day weekend.
Layering just makes fall that much more fun.
Enjoy.
