Nouveau Grunge

In a society where tight clothing is preferred and flaunting what you have is expected, going against the norm is so much more refreshing.

Grunge, menswear, athletic style and urban wear all inspire me to dress the way that I actually want to, instead of what I “should” be wearing. (And if you stop by often, you’ll probably notice how all four of these inspirations trickle down within the majority of my outfits).

In other news, last night I attended ‘Alta Moda’s’ annual holiday party with my sister, aka ‘Attention 2 Detail Events’. I am excited to show you guys the pictures from the event and the bridal couture fashion show and, of course, I love any excuse to dress up for the holidays.
 
Also I wanted to give out a big shout out to Taylah over at ‘Peach Milkshake’!
She was beyond sweet in announcing me as her 2013 Blogger of the Year and shared some lovely words.
