The Nutcracker

This weekend, I got to see the Nutcracker, presented by Salt Lake City’s own Ballet West. Some of you may be familiar with Ballet West from their CW television show, “Breaking Pointe.”

Although I am not into television very much, I am very into the ballet and The Nutcracker was perfect for the holiday season. If you are local, I highly recommend it, if you haven’t seen it already.
Due to it being extremely cold and snowy in the valley, I opted out of wearing a dress and heels to the event, but chose a very whimsical blouse instead. Clover Canyon, an LA based designer, is a recent obsession of mine that a close friend introduced me to. Their use of mixing and layering bold prints really catches the eye and makes any traditional item of clothing a piece of art.
It made what was more of a traditional outfit a little bit more up my alley.
