Trench Coat: W118 by Walter Baker [Similar Here, Here and Here], Sweater: Zara [Love This], Flats: Steve Madden [Similar Here], Scarf: H&M [Love This], Sunglasses: Vintage Ray-Ban [Here].
Dressing up a with an iconic fashion staple, I thought I would give you a little ‘hump day’ history lesson on the trench coat.
“The trench coat was developed as an alternative to the heavy serge greatcoats worn by British and Frenchsoldiers in the First World War. Invention of the trench coat is claimed by both Burberry and Aquascutum, with Aquascutum’s claim dating back to the 1850s. Thomas Burberry, the inventor of gabardine fabric, submitted a design for an army officer’s raincoat to the United Kingdom War Office in 1901.” [Wikipedia Source]

Also, a HUGE thank you to the amazing Cheryl over at ‘Oh to Be a Muse’ for featuring me as her ‘Featured Fashionista’!

I love the double dose of leopard. It’s basically one of the best patterns out there….and yet, I’ve never paired my leopard together like this. I may try that tomorrow!!
