Shift Dress

As the weather starts warming up, I have been getting more anxious for the upcoming spring and summer months—shorts, dresses, maxis… simple warm-weather clothes that don’t take too much  to complete an entire outfit. This is why in the upcoming warmer months, I am going to wear dresses as much as possible. Since there is only a four month window in Salt Lake City where the temperature is actually warm, I am taking full advantage.

One style I absolutely love: the shift dress (or t-shirt dress, in some instances). It’s a dress not made to hug every curve, but a dress of comfortable freedom. Dress up. Dress down. This dress is perfect with flats, heels, sneakers, flip flops or wedges—this universal dress is speaking my language!
So be sure to stride into spring, comfortably, with some of my favorite shift dress picks!

P.S. I probably used the word ‘Dress’ way more than I ever have before.

    I love shift dresses and that pattern is so awesome – especially with the hat!

    We too have like, maaaaybe 4 good months of heat, and wearing dresses is something I love to do. It’s so effortless to look good when you throw on a cute dress. Meanwhile, it’s like, 40 degrees out today. UGHHHH still can’t wear bare legs and a dress!
