Although I am currently in sunny San Diego, last week I got to wear one of my favorite clothing options: the matching set. I also gave my thigh high boots one last ‘hurrah’ before putting them away till fall.
Some people don’t opt in for a matching set due to the “matchy matchy” appeal, but I find the wear-ability to be completely universal. If worn together, the outfit is essentially laid out for you; all you need to do is add your own personal touches with accessories. Yet worn separately, it is easy to match the skirt with different top options, and vice versa for the top if worn with a different skirt, shorts, or jeans. It gives you a multitude of options to mix and match, but also being a no brainer when worn together.
Happy Memorial Weekend everyone!

Well you had me fooled, I would have thought this was a dress! I think matching can work sometimes, plus you can wear them as separates and get so much more out of them.
