Swimsuit season is upon us! If you are like me, finding the perfect cover up is a struggle.
Last year, I found this kaftan; an elegant take on a modernized swimsuit cover up. Kaftans were originally worn in the East as a long, coat-like garment, belted and made of rich fabric. In the west, this style was imitated with lighter fabric and wide sleeves.
Something so elegant you could wear it with a slip, but casual enough to wear over your swimsuit to the beach or pool.

That’s WAY too gorgeous to be a cover up! I just thought it was a really nice maxi dress or something. I usually just wear an ugly oversized tee as a cover up…but clearly, this is 100x better!
