Now that we are into our 2nd day of June, it’s starting to officially feel like summer has finally arrived. While I was running around in La Jolla, it felt like summer a few weeks early for me. No summer wardrobe is ever complete without a signature tropical print Mara Hoffman either. Something about her hippie chic prints and mix of neon bright colors lures me into a warm weather frenzy. I purchased THIS tank in the midst of winter, waiting for an opportunity to wear it in the sunshine, and that opportunity finally came in sunny California.
Besides having clothing, Mara Hoffman is also known for her amazing line of swimwear, which is actually how I discovered her line, when I purchased my first Mara Hoffman suit. Before I jetted off to sunny San Diego, I was contacted by a lovely Etsy store Danique Jewelry, specializing in handmade gold and sterling silver jewelry. I quickly fell in love with her dainty necklaces and faceted stone pieces. Working in fine jewelry, years ago, I really appreciate handmade jewelry. We currently are surrounded by so many jewelry options but sadly not very high in quality or longevity.
A green amethyst stone bangle that reminded me of my Ippolita collection (but at a fraction of the cost) caught my eye. I wore it on my trip and have been throwing it on to my casual gold arm stack. It’s a great layering option that is universal enough to match with all of my jewelry.

I love the tropical print here but truly it is that flowy chiffon maxi skirt and sandals I adore even more.
