It feels like I’ve been gone forever. Taking a 5 day break, to help one of your best friends have her wedding on the beach in La Jolla, was no simple task. From last week’s bachelorette party, to the recent wedding, I found myself worn out. One benefit from her destination wedding was getting a lot more time exploring one of my favorite cities: San Diego.
If you have been following me around this summer I first stopped in San Diego for Memorial Day. It felt almost like home being back in my urban beach town.
On my last day in the SD I got to explore the darling island of Coronado, a favorite amongst my friends, it seemed as if I was one of the last to escape to the island just a bridge away from downtown. Filled with retro beach houses and fun shops, Coronado was a relaxing stop to a very hectic weekend schedule.
Let’s just say I am trying to convince my family to go in on a vacation home there in the near future…
