I certainly got myself into a hairy situation when I bought this coat (pun-intended). What started as an impulse buy certainly turned into a slight panic attack when trying to figure out how to pair this wild animal of a coat with something. I have gained so much inspiration from some serious icons like Kate Moss, Miroslava Duma, and Alexa Chung, but being a little busty made me worry about looking too top heavy with all the texture. How could I wear a trendy winter staple without looking too bulky? Monocromatic! Creating an all-black look with the addition of a white fur coat as the statement piece really tied everything together without looking unflattering. Who can say no to all black, anyways?

I got a similar faux fur coat from Zara a month or so ago and am dying to wear it! I may have to save it for December/January as it’s not quite cold enough for fur yet down here…
