On my flight home this weekend back from a warm place, I had a conversation about Utah weather with an old lady next to me. “As soon as I pack my clothing away each season, the Utah weather always surprises me.” she said. I responded to her, “We may get all four seasons, but you never know which one you are going to get each day.” We both chuckled and agreed over the bipolar weather we live in. Living in Salt Lake City, I have managed to acquire a collection of hats, coats, and layering pieces over the years. My plaid coat is the perfect go to for those brisk, early winter days while staying completely current with its classic plaid pattern. We all want solid coats but plaid really can make you stand out amongst a sea of neutrals.

Ah I love this coat! And I totally feel you on the bi polar weather. In Georgia temperatures can range from the 80’s to 30’s in one week in fall! It’s ridiculous.Sad thing is, I think it’s a planetary issue and not just a state issue.
Anyway, it makes for an interesting wardrobe!
