With Memorial Day now only a week away, I know most of us are all planning for our long weekend vacations. Marking the first official day of Summer to most, we are all pulling out our warm weather favorites. One summer item that particularly comes to my mind is the crop top.
Although, I would consider myself very well versed in all things crop top, I have had a lot of people asking me how to wear this summer staple. With a fear of showing off too much, I realize why some steer clear of this trend.
However, my absolute favorite way to wear crops is pairing them with high waisted jeans, shorts, or skirts. You can snag this amazing black pair that will easily go with any color! The high waist eliminates the large gap of bare skin, while still allowing you to wear crop tops or bandeaus (tube top crops) in a classic way. It’s obvious crop tops and high waists go together like peanut butter and jelly, while also creating the perfect outfit for outdoor concerts or even going out at night. Whatever this long weekend has in store for you be sure to pack your crops and high waisted jeans!
