Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a productive weekend full of catching up and cleaning, oh just me?
Being in the transition of starting a new job has left me scrambling to catch up on everything I’ve wanted to accomplish before all my free time is up. From home renovation ideas, cleaning more things out of my closet, and attempting to finish up a novel, doesn’t seem like much, but takes a serious chunk out of your free time.
In between tasks, I made it out of the house for some shopping (for lighting fixtures, not clothing I swear) and got the opportunity to try out a windowpane combination that I have been dying to try. I purchased this shirt a few weeks ago with the hopes of it matching my shorts perfectly. They might not be a perfect match, but the difference in the thickness of the grid lines actually made the pair more appealing. It’s obvious my love for matching sets is very real, but a slight miss match might be a bit more fun that a perfect set! Although, my shorts are no longer available, I also found this killer black and white windowpane matching set but in a T-shirt and short version. Something tells me it arrive at my front door in the near future…

Being that I just bought a house, I’m super into things like light fixtures right now too! There are so many pretty ones to choose from. Pendant lights are the best.
