The count down has officially started and today marks the start of my birthday week! This is the first actually birthday I have started dreading. Sure I know a lot of people are going to laugh at me when they realize I am only turning 27 but the truth is, although we all get older and wiser, everything gets a little bit more difficult. 26, probably my most trying year has made me realize so many things, one being that everything fitness related is going to take me twice as much time as it did even two years ago. Ok ok, I will stop complaining and leave that up to my actual birthday but we are only 3 days away so brace yourselves!
Now to this blush number. Lately, with being 2 months into my new position I have been fully submerged into updating my work wardrobe. After some online window shopping I came across this blush shirt dress and knew I had to pull the trigger. Already being a huge fan of shirt dresses, the length and soft blush hue really caught my eye. Long enough to be work appropriate but soft enough to be a neutral staple in my closet; making it easy to wear with a blazer or even high boots this coming fall. If you are looking for great fall transitional pieces opt for long sleeve dresses, which pair better with boots and make fall layers more appropriate.
We are all aware of how much I love monochromatic looks as well, so pairing the blush dress with a perfect color match in my heels not only elevated this look, but also gave my legs a bit more length (which I always need) and kept this outfit more streamline and classic. Coming in at less than $35 dollars this blush shirt dress is not only a steal and a half but its super silky and comfortable. Now if only they sold it in a few more colors!
