Does anyone ever remember being in elementary school and having competitions with other classes, just to win a pizza party? Did you finally realize that we would save endless box tops, recycle yellow page books, complete countless amounts of reading, all for a pizza party…? Regardless of the fact that it may or may not have cost them $50 to feed a classroom of pepperoni and cheese fanatical children. Chances are, if you gathered the same group of children, now turned adults, we could still do whatever is possible to get a pizza party. Moral of the story being: Pizza has no age.
Now as I look back on me prancing into a local downtown pizza parlor (It’s Pie Hole for all you Salt Lake locals!), I realize how not only excited I was to order a slice of delicious supreme pizza, but the fact of how proud I am to wear this love affair around in clothing form. Sure graphic tee’s with clever or uplifting quotes have become extremely popular in the last few years, but step aside, picture print tops have arrived. From donut prints to pizza, nothing needs to be said when we are draped in a highly coveted food item. Although, my beloved pizza sweatshirt sold out, I did find some of my favorite pizza picks, including a killer pizza denim jacket, thats almost too good to miss.
So don’t feel guilty wearing a harmless pick me up. Lets be serious as well, its about time that fun and food related clothing items became sociality acceptable for adults. As a wise Pinterest image once told me: “People Disappoint. Pizza is Eternal.” So sport your clothing covered in cookies, cakes, or pie! You have nothing to hide, except admitting how much you actually have eaten…
In my pizza sweatshirt, I plead the fifth.

Also, I feel like I want some sort of pizza-loving graphic tee, now that you’ve put the idea in my mind.
