Tights Season

H&M Navy Utility Dress

Snowpocalypse has officially landed in Utah and I don’t see it melting anytime soon. With the added layers of winter white snow come the extra layers of clothing. Tights so be specific. Tights not only give a slight barrier of warmth but also may your favorite dresses wearable in the colder months of the year. So often I get ballsy and think I can rough the weather without being effected by the chill but to my dismay I often regret my decision as soon as I walk out of the door.

Staying warm, layered up and extra healthy is certainly something I could probably work on going into the new year. The passed two weekends I have spent working on really fun content that I am excited about. Every year I try to work on making Eleventh & Sixteenth bigger and better than the last year. Although, this plan usually becomes accomplished… I tend to over work myself, this last two weeks to be specific. Working 40 hours a week, and some nights and weekends for my actual career is already pretty tough, but I love it. Sometimes I forget that my blog becomes actual work until I sit down Sunday night and realize I didn’t really have much time to relax. This passed Sunday after my last shoot at 5pm, I caught something, a bug, a virus I am not quite sure. After the weeks and weeks of non stop work and blogging prep, my body had certainly had enough and I needed a break. Also another reason why this post is coming to you on a Tuesday instead of a Monday morning.

It is not only essential that we stay healthy and take rest and relaxation into account but we must dress warm and protect ourselves. Cold weather makes us more susceptible to colds and viruses and adding those extra layers, even just throwing on a pair of tights really can make a difference.

    Gorgeous outfit! I’m obsessed with tights. I literally have an entire drawer of them. Glad I’m not alone in this love!

    Can’t believe you guys have so much snow. It’s uncharacteristically warm here in NJ! This week, we had weather in the 60’s yet this exact date last year, we had snow. Crazy.
