Blush -ing Through The Snow

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas these days, and with 18 days left to go, I am certainly starting to feel the holiday spirit. With the long work hours, bitter cold, ridiculous amounts of traffic, the complications of trying to plan parties, shopping for friends and family, and endless supply of cookies, cakes and pastries… it’s easy to get wrapped up into it all (get it, wrapped up?). In most cases, you will find me glued to some sort of caffeine, and snuggled up in something warm. This blush coat has certainly become one of my favorites this winter season.

Here in Salt Lake, it gets pretty nasty on the cold front. It’s pretty normal to have quite the selection of outwear choices in your closest, and of course a solid pair of Hunter and Ugg boots. This blush coat was something I certainly needed in my closet, something neutral but light to break up all the black, navy, and browns of the winter wear normalcy. With drape front instead of a traditional zipper, it was easy for me to swap the belt that it was pair with to something a little bit more universal, like my recent fanny pack purchase. I know exactly what you are thinking, fanny pack?! But lets be serious for a second, during the holidays, not only is it hard enough maneuvering through the crowds, but holding shopping bags and a purse can become quite a workout. Wearing this fanny pack has not only made me hands free, but is an adorable way of securing my blush coat and holding all my necessities. It’s even been a handy clutch alternative when I go out to the bar with my friends.

Regardless of the holiday shuffle that seems to be going around, it’s import to stay warm, comfortable, and functional. Certainly my recipe for keeping it all together this season!

    Love the jacket, I have been looking for a review on it & and a real life picture of it! Can you let me know what size you wear, and the size jacket you got? Not sure if I want it fitted and a little looser.

    First let me just say that you make wearing a fanny pack absolutely fabulous!! I adore this look! Second, your wrap jacket is perfect! I don’t like big bulkiness when running around either. This is perfect!
