I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I am currently sitting down, reflecting on this camel coat, I cant help but realize that I am surrounded by laundry that needs to be put away, donations that need to be sorted, and what feels like an endless amount of cleaning. Where did my weekend go, and what exactly did I do with it? We often times think our weekends are meant for fun and relaxation. However, I am starting to wonder if that is the only time I can get a leg up on these endless chores. Not only do I want to start my new years resolutions to get my life a little bit more organized, but I can’t even start my goals until I can get everything else completed.
With my new fitness schedule and completing what will now be day 9 on Whole30, I find that when I am not in office, I am usually working out or cooking. Even with the weather being in the 30s then dropping down to single digits and going back up again, this camel coat is certainly a go-to from going to the office to grabbing coffee with friends. The large hood not only is extremely handy for rain or snow, but it also gives this classic camel coat a little something extra then the typical longline coat. Let’s be serious though, how many times have we worn our peacoat or other winter coats, wishing we had a hood for sudden downpours? (this bad boy has saved my hair a solid 3 times already!)
So even though we all get excited for the little things like pockets in dresses, maybe we also need to remember how essential it is to praise our favorite classic winter jackets that have hoods!
