Red bandanas have always emitted a certain cool girl vibe. Always being intimidated by the paisley print scarf, I was always envious of girls who could wrap up their laid back hair in a make shift red bandana headband. Needless to say, I tried this technique many times and the fact that I could never really do my hair more then 3-ways certainly didn’t help me. I never really picked up on the creative hair gene thing… curly, straight, and pony tails have got me this fair in life, why would I give that up now?
Over the summer, the red bandana popped up all over the place. Used as scarves, bracelets, neckties, purse wraps and so many more things, it left me wondering why I had never though to use these bandanas any other way. The cool girl vibe was certainly back, but so was the slight intimidation. “Would this look just as effortless on me?” “Am I going to look like I am trying to hard?” Random questions filled up my head until I just decided to jump on the bandwagon and give it a go. We all love pops of red and bright colors to liven up our dreary winter shades, and a red bandana is certainly the trick. Feeling like I am apart of the cool girls now, I don’t see myself taking this bad boy off anytime soon!
On a completely random note, I also cannot stop buying make-up. My New Years Resolution to minimize my home has me wanting to get rid of everything and completely start over from scratch! I may or may not have dropped a small fortune on a new set of brushes, but its out with the old and in with the new! I also might have a few beauty tutorials up my sleeve coming soon! 😉
