Do not let the lack of snow fool you. Even though spring is on the rise, highs of 40 degree temperatures are few and far between. Making any attempt to wear my upcoming spring wardrobe somewhat of a struggle. Simple layers are almost essential until May comes around the corner. I may be bitter about the weather but this floral print dress certainly has my spirits higher than usual.
Floral print aka the universal print of spring, marks the beginning stages of warmer weather. Although, this trend has found its way into all of the seasons, we tend to go a little haywire with it around the end of winter. From a simple floral print dress to cell phone cases, yoga mats and fanny packs, it’s easy to see the transition from cold and dreary, to bright and cheerful. But when the weather doesn’t do much changing, you essentially wear this print to trick your mind it is. Naturally, when I saw this floral print dress, it immediately had me longing for spring. Wearing it on the other hand was a different issue.
If you live in a similar climate to Utah, you understand the importance of a light jacket, or the main reason why I may own every possibly color in a moto jacket possible. Giving yourself an extra layer of warmth is the difference between wearing and not wearing your spring favorites. A cup of coffee will also help you manage through the chill 😉 !
