Continuing through the year I have fully embraced my New Years resolution to declutter my life and become a bit more minimal. Starting with decluttering my closet, I have been working my way through each room in my house to get rid of anything I don’t use or that doesn’t bring value to my life. However, one thing that I have actually been getting more of is Art.
I have always been a fan of surrounding myself with beautiful things that inspire me. Probably another reason why I love clothing so much… For whatever reason that is, I have always been a collector of random works of art. From dish ware, to sculptures, and even printed and original art work, I cannot help but hoard different pieces from around town or when I travel. All these treasures have not only become an intense collection, but have formed into a unique and bright gallery wall in my house. Always looking to expand my art collage, I recently discovered Minted Art. A section of the Minted company, Minted Art is an online marketplace connecting individuals with independent artists from all over the world. Immediately I was hooked. Minted Art not only sources it’s pieces through on-going art competitions, but they have an insane amount of styles and options to choose from.
I quickly lost hours each day looking and reading up on each artist and seeing all their different works of art. It took me a few days to find 6 amazing original pieces that my wall could certainly not live without. From my obvious love of all things orange, I selected this amazing picture of tangerines, all the way to an image called “Random Lines.” I almost wish I had more wall space to splurge on larger prints of each of these prints.
Don’t take my word for it, explore Minted Art and find your own piece of inspiration.
