Happy Monday Everyone! Here in Utah, it’s often that we can’t catch a break with the weather. We experience 60 degree temperatures and before we know it… it starts to snow again. It’s almost essential that we keep our winter clothing out until summer, no matter how much we are itching for change. Luckily, spring often calls for sweaters and light layers, (like this amazing lace up sweater) making it easy to transition into our spring lusts, while still staying warm.
The lace up trend has been going on for a little while now. With the soon to be arrival of spring, it is now popping back up in full force. I was easy for me to realize I needed this lace up sweater in my life, regardless of the temperature outside. Over the weekend I found myself only wearing light layers as I went about my errands. It wasn’t until the end of the weekend that the cold front arrived and the addition of my jacket was needed. Having thinner options to build upon really make layering in the late winter and early spring much more wearable, helping transition your cold weather wardrobe. I also will take any excuse I possibly can to continue to wear my over the knee boots.
Regardless of the sudden snow storms, my fever for a new spring wardrobe continues. Splurging on my lace up sweater, white overalls, an endless supply of bodysuits, sunglasses and more, it’s easy to see that I am in a warmer state of mind. Spring seems to be the one transitional season that I can’t seem to control myself. The desire for a complete change in my wardrobe almost consumes me as I prepare for the warmer months. It also doesn’t help that I am feverishly shopping for my upcoming trip to Malibu in the next couple of weeks. Let’s just say I have been looking forward to this getaway for a long while…
