Happy Hump Day! As I was starting to write this blog post I was immediately taken back by the fact that this is my 401st blog post! HOLY CRAP, how time flies when you are talking about clothing, beauty, travel, and a serious shopping obsession… So before I get into the nitty gritty, I just wanted to give all of you a HUGE THANK YOU!
It’s finally spring! Although this may be a fact, let’s just be serious, it just started snowing again and I doubt I see a true spring until the end of April. Regardless of my depressing rambling, spring is kinda here and I plan on dressing as such. Nothing gets me more excited for the warmer weather than pulling out my favorite maxi skirt.
There is something just so effortless about a long skirt. A maxi skirt allows your legs you the comfort of not shaving, giving you a much deserved break after the abundance of jeans, pants, and heavy layers throughout the winter months. Not only does the comfort factor play a major role, but the fact that you can essentially dress them up or down doesn’t hurt either. This sweater maxi dress I picked up from Venus really gave me a spring outfit I love wearing into the office and out with the girls for drinks after a long week.Keep your maxi skirt game simple with neutral colors, or classic prints like floral. Having universal pieces not only saves me from multiple outfit changes during the day, but allows my wardrobe to stay minimal, classic, and stand the test of time with each seasons endless trends.
What is your favorite way to wear maxi skirts this season? Be sure to let me know in the comments below!

I love your outfit. I think you look elegant and the contrast between the straight skirt and drapey blouse is a nice look. I have a hard time walking in long narrow skirts. I love the look of them but I feel confined in my movement.
