Happy Hump day! First and foremost, I have been a little spotty lately on Eleventh & Sixteenth. I have been readjusting to some new life changes with family and I apologize for the absence. I am getting back on track and have just needed to take a little more PTO than normal. In other news, I can’t seem to get over a trend that isn’t exactly new, but has finally found its way as a serious staple in my closet… the bodysuit.
Always being an avid ‘shirt tucker’ it wasn’t until recently that I realized the need for a bodysuit. I certainly suffer from shirts getting bunched up and or coming out throughout everyday life. No one wants to suffer from bending over and showing off their undergarments either. So it was my surprise that I didn’t realize how amazing bodysuits actually are. From pairing them with a maxi skirt (as pictured, and a favorite for work) to wearing them with jeans and a pair of your favorite kicks. The body suit is certainly a classic that can replace that grungy, oversized tee shirt you keep wearing… maybe I am just talking to myself here. It also is extremely flattering to all body shapes, so don’t be afraid to show off those curves!
Available in a large selection of options, bodysuits will change your life. Except when you need to use the restroom, thats certainly an extra step haha. This outfit is incredible. I’ve worn bodysuits before under other clothes in place of a cami (they don’t ride up like camis do), but I’ve been loving the trend of having a bodysuit as your top/shirt.
