The End of Summer
As I keep getting older, the end of summer and I have kind of a love hate relationship. For me, my birthday usually marks the end of summer. Being a warm weather gal stuck in Utah makes this a pretty depressing time. Now with only 3 days left, I am sure you can probably guess how I am celebrating these last few weeks. With more off the shoulder tops?… You don’t say!
Already being a big fan of the trendy online boutique, Pink Blush, I couldn’t help but snag what would be the last few summer pieces for my wardrobe. How depressing is that? No one should ever be robbed of their summer… oh and their twenties (someone freeze time, I do not want to get older!). But alas, here I am, close to 28 but enjoying the last bit of summer I have in what has essentially become my summer uniform.
Can I also just say that maxi skirts are the single best alternative to pants. I haven’t had too many opportunities to wear them this summer but when I saw this amazing pleated black skirt, I knew it would be a classic piece in my wardrobe. It gave me major boho vibes when I mixed this stunner with this amazing coral off the shoulder top. Making it a perfect casual beach day outfit, or something comfortable to run around in on the weekends. As much as I love to be stylish, I also really enjoy being comfortable as well.
