Fall Bomber Jacket
I am pretty confident that I am one of the only people who doesn’t want fall to come. Sure we get excited for all the rich colors and chunky layers, but I am just not ready to give up the warm weather. As I expressed in my Instagram post yesterday, fall is only a trick and winter will be here soon enough. So naturally I am fighting the seasonal change as much as I can and as I transition my wardrobe, *cries internally* I opt for lighter layers and soft and cheerful colors. Boo fall…
So as I muster up the strength to not sell all my belongings and move to Hawaii, the only thing I actually AM excited for is jackets. Let’s not be confused with heavy jackets… I mean light jackets. These consist of leather jackets, moto jackets, trench coats (the lighter ones), and of course bomber jackets. Seeing as how I still wore these all through summer, jackets are essentially the only thing that get me through the cold months, oh and of course turtlenecks.
But who could say no to this adorable embroidered bomber jacket that I snagged. Regardless of my boycott towards autumn, I couldn’t resist this soft colored silk bomber jacket style and the colorful detailing. Paired with a light t-shirt dress, it was the perfect transitional outfit going into fall. The sleeves of my bomber jacket matched my new bag perfectly and I will always find any excuse to wear a choker now a days. After non-stop wearing them, want to purchase every color in these amazing flats. Not only are they adorable, they are so comfortable.
So who is with me? Do I have any anti-fall and cold weather people out there? Let me know, maybe we need to form a group and move to San Diego or all go in on a time-share. Warm weather don’t leave me :(.

I personally love the time between summer and fall when you can wear a mixture of things that suit both seasons. I live in jackets, bombers and sweaters over dresses for most of that time.

I’m with you – summer is NEVER long enough and the part of fall where we can enjoy light jackets and still have bare legs is all too short before the real cold rolls in and you realize how insane it is to still be trying to wear a ballet flat with your jeans because it’s freezing out.
But I do enjoy a good jacket, and this one is pretty fabulous.

I feel the same way you do, Kim. I enjoy fall layering — especially fab bomber jackets like yours — but I really do love warm weather. Maybe we can just have fall, skip winter and then go straight to spring.
