Summer Uniform: Overalls
Already into August, time has a funny way of passing you unexpectedly. Over the weekend, Eleventh & Sixteenth hit it’s three year mark! Three years is no small chunk of time, however, getting in the groove of doing my blog makes it seem like no time at all. I will be sure to combine this personal celebration with my birthday later this month (Hello, can you say BIRTHDAY MONTH!?!)
I realize 2016 has been some what of a heavy year. A year full of losses, trials, and overall struggles. Realizing I am about to approach my 28th year gives me a huge dose of reality and sense of urgency. I think over the next 18 days I am going to try to compile a list of goals I want to make myself for the next 2 years, aka big 30th birthday!
Besides the whole getting older thing, let’s get back to the more important stuff… like these overalls. Probably something we all wore in grade school, this denim classic has come back full swing over the last few years. I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy wearing these more than my actual jeans.
They also provided a perfect combination with off the shoulder tops as well. It’s pretty obvious how many I have in my wardrobe at this point, and the fact that I can’t stop wearing them. So finding so many ways to incorporate them into my outfits has been a fun challenge. Overalls and off the shoulder tops were just a natural collaboration, allowing me to wear two of my favorites at once. Trust me, this style is going no wear through the rest of the summer.

I love the overalls. I recently purchased a pair about a month ago and I am so excited that the trend is back. The black on black that you did in this outfit with a pop of color is so chic. Gorgeous!
