Denim Dress

It’s official, I jinxed myself. Yesterday was the first official day of fall and I actually got excited for everything that comes with it. Within an instant it dropped 20 degrees and began to rain, and still continues to rain today. Part of me already misses summer, but until I can move to southern California, this is life. Luckily, denim, my all time wardrobe go-to never seems to go out of style, no matter the season. So although I may already hate the weather. I find some comfort in knowing pieces like this denim dress, will be coming with me even into the fall. 

Granted, I realize now that a few days later it is now a brisk 50 degrees outside. As we wear denim all year round, we know it’s (in most cases) thicker fabric is a great match for the colder seasons. Canadian tuxedo season if you ask me! But with fall comes layering, and layering denim is certainly one of my favorite things, especially in conjunction with more denim. So before you hang all of your summer dresses in the back of your closet, maybe re-think if you can utilize them in the fall.

Because there is no wrong way to wear denim, especially with all the options available from basic denim jeans, to overalls, chambrays, denim jackets, and even a denim dress.
