Sporty Spice
It’s pretty obvious now that the 90s are very much back in style. From oversize band tees, bomber jackets, chokers, acid wash, mom jeans, mini skirts and so much more, this could possibly be my favorite revival yet. So what if I grew up idolizing Clueless and reading Seventeen magazine like it was the bible, the 90s just feel like my childhood and I am obsessed with the style that goes along with it.
Sure it may not look like everything has warped back in time, however, the small trends we covet today are all references from killer trends 3 decades ago… three decades, now I feel like I am getting old. One of my favorite trends would have to be the sporty look. Cue sporty spice from Spice Girls because casual chic has hit an all time high. It’s pretty obvious that this is one of my favorite trends from my endless obsession with adidas and sportswear that I can’t shut up about. It’s not just track pants and tanks tops anymore, we have transformed this classic into modern everyday wear which not only looks great, but is extremely comfortable as well.
Body suits are also one sporty basic that I can’t live without. Let’s be serious, having a shirt that never untucks makes bodysuits the real MVP. Paired with skirts, jeans, under dresses and overalls makes this 90s classic an essential. I also snagged this nude bodysuit (Under $16!) to pair with all my favorite fall finds, including this olive green mini skirt. I also plan on wearing my fuzzy puma slides until snow covers the ground… only Mother Nature can stop me!

I think I need to get on board with the body suit, because tucking is a bit of a nightmare when you’ve got an 8″ difference between your bust and your waist.
I’m okay with a little bit of the 90’s creeping back, but I think most of it can happily stay in the past!
