Holiday Dress: The Sweater Dress
December is literally days away at this point and if you are anything like me, I try to be ready ahead of time for all of my upcoming holiday parties. From white elephant gift exchanges to work Christmas parties, it’s essential to have a few options up your sleeve for whatever invitation gets thrown your way. All week I will be showing you three different dress styles that are easy to wear to any holiday affair, just get ready to enjoy the season!
I think in more cases than we assume, most holiday parties can be pretty casual. So what can you wear to a holiday party without pulling out a pair of your favorite denim jeans? One of my absolute favorite casual holiday outfit ideas, and winter go-to is the sweater dress. The sweater dress is the perfect casual dress option to not only beat the December chill, but give yourself a great casual dress to still ring in the holidays with.
I picked up this charcoal sweater dress from Boohoo. Priced at only $35, it was the perfect option to pair with one of my favorite pairs of thigh high boots and didn’t require much accessorizing either with its chunky turtleneck collar. Maybe it’s a bit too cold for just a pair of thigh high boots? Be sure to throw on a pair of tights for an extra layer against the cold! I like to keep all of my outfits simple, and minimize on adding on multiple pieces. Making a sweater dress a simple one stop shop when it comes to all of your casual holiday parties!
