The Sequin Dress
I ended up attending my own holiday party earlier this week and obviously there is no way we could get through the holidays without a little sparkle. So for day 2 of my holiday dresses round up, it was essential that I bring you my absolute favorite sequin dress of the season.
Let’s just get something out there in the open really quickly… Sequins are ALWAYS a good idea. Nothing makes me feel more elegant and feminine. Sequins especially make even more sense during the holiday season, from Christmas to New Years you can always find an excuse to be a little flashy. The second I saw this multi-colored sequin dress from Boohoo, I knew it would be the perfect ensemble for my upcoming work Christmas party.
Not only was this dress priced well under $100, but it’s probably one of my more comfortable “fancy” dresses. The shift style didn’t suffocate me at all, and allowed me to have a funky little 70s vibe while pairing it with some vibrant hot pink shoes for a fun pop! Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean you are required to wear red and green. So in the words of Rihanna, “shine bright like a diamond” this holiday season and switch it up with a bold and bright sequin dress!
