Valentine’s Day Dress
Valentine’s Day is less than a week away at this point people! Granted I have never been huge on this holiday, I will never turn down a good excuse to throw on a dress and hit the town. Don’t let this blue hue fool you, no one ever said there was a dress code for Valentine’s Day…
Previously a Single Awareness Day participant, this year I actually have good reason to celebrate good ol’ Valentine’s Day. The ironic thing is that although I might have someone worth sharing the holiday with, I would prefer a night in cooking and spending time together. Instead of squeezing into a reservation time, packed with endless couples. So (you know who you are), if you are reading this… Valentine’s Day and chill?
Back to Valentine’s Day traditions, who says you have to wear pink or red on the holiday of love? Maybe I just like to push my boundaries, but I have never really opted to wear colors that I am “supposed” to. With all the beautiful spring time colors coming out as well, who can resist pushing the envelope with a fun color. I found this bell sleeve detail dress and knew it was perfect, and blue is much more my color. It’s also available in a rich orange and bright white!
